The Peace Bridge Newcomers Centre is co-located with the Canadian Border Services Agency’s Refugee Processing Unit at the Peace Bridge. Professional staff assist claimants in finding temporary shelter when required. All refugees are provided with an extensive information to assist them when they arrive at their destination in Canada. We provide refugee claimants with an overview of the legal process for making a refugee claim including deadlines, rights and responsibilities and general settlement information for their first month in Canada.  Each child under the age of 12 is provided with a welcome kit. A supervised play area is available for children during interviews by CBSA. There is no general public access to this site.
